“What are you guys, going to a volley ball game or something?”
Pulp Fiction rules, it’s Quentin’s masterpiece. There has been a lot of paintings done on his movies. It’s always been on my list of things to paint. But not sure what i wanted to do. I knew I wanted to do something for sure with Jules and Vincent, but wanted to do something a little different. That’s why I put him in his change of clothes towards the end of the movie instead of the traditional black suit and tie. As bad ass as that is, not many people can pull off those dorky clothes. If you’re wondering about the background, it’s inspired off the wall in the restaurant when shit went down with Pumpkin and Honey Bunny.
But when it comes to painting Vincent Vega, I will probably do a companion piece to this one with him, also in his dorky clothes. But what’s more exciting to me than that is I really want to do a piece that has both Vega Brothers in it. Him and his “brother” from Reservoir Dogs, Vic Vega (Mr Blonde). That might be coming up sooner than later. Stay tuned for more Pulp.
